To be successful you will have:

• Fully Qualified and approximately 5 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Relevant Agriculture / Transport Mechanical Trade Certificate or experience.
• High quality brand experience an advantage.
• Be a self-starter with a great attitude for teamwork & taking responsibility.
• Have passion for the agricultural industry!
• Experience with ag machinery, trucks & spray equipment is highly beneficial
• Strong diagnostic skills, particularly in electrical and hydraulics
• Computer skills
• A current driver’s license
• Always provide excellent customer communication and service!
• Professional, reliable, motivated and willing to work in a growing team!

This is a busy workshop where you will work on a vast range of agricultural equipment and vehicles where no two days are the same.

We are keen to talk to you if you have, knowledge of farming systems and crop agronomy, an interest in GPS automation hardware and spatial data, knowledge of drones and drone technology, basic mechanical skills.

You will travel to our Total Ag Solutions branches, wider regions and to customer properties and will have the use of a company vehicle for this purpose.

The key responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

• Focus on GPS and Technology solutions for customers and build long term relationships to maximise client and company profitability.
• Work with customers to ensure quality data capture, data analysis, interpretation and delivery recommendations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert with other customer trusted advisers, as well as Sales and Service teams.
• Coordinate and conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at branch and client field locations.
• Provide product training to our customers and Total Ag Solutions staff.
• Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends.
• Understand & utilise drone technology, imaging and sensory providers to drive the growth of the Precision Ag Division.
• Drive the sales of cutting edge drone and GPS systems.

To be successful you will have:

• Knowledge of basic agronomy and farming systems.
• An interest in precision agriculture and the ability to keep learning.
• The ability to create and maintain long lasting customer relationships.
• Basic Mechanical knowledge and skills
• A current and valid driver’s license
• Strong communication skills, customer service focus and dedicated work ethic.
• The ability to work with technology.
• Prior experience in precision farming would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
